Course Outline
There is a 1-day and 3-day course for staff working primary for the health and social care setting. It will enable you to have an understanding of the different types of dementia . How to support people with Dementia. This course has been linked to the National Standards and the Skills for Care.
Course Outcomes
Understanding what Dementia is and the different types, the causes and stages, communication concerns, how to help, support and managing challenging behaviour effectively with someone suffering from the condition.
