University of Central England in Birmingham
HEC Ltd have been associated with this Faculty since 1995. Providing Manual handling Training courses and updates for academic staff. Staff trainers are from various disciplines including Nursing, Midwifery, ODP, and Radiography. The Faculty has over 4,000 pre-registered students, 300 plus academic staff a large proportion involved in skills training and regular updates, which is supported by HEC Ltd. Written documentation accompanying the course was comprehensive, well ordered and appropriate. Relaxed, supportive and encouraging, appropriate anecdotal evidence supported the theory. Since 2001 I have used HEC Ltd as a training contractor to provide regular moving and handling training for staff based in our special schools and units.
